The fire-safe insulating tape MLux BASE is intended for use in the automotive industry, as well as during electrical installation works in construction and laying of SCS networks.
Adhesive layer of the insulating tape MLux BASE has a rubber basis, with the result that adhesion to stainless steel reaches 1.7 N/cm, which is one of the best ratios for the standard size 0.13 mm x 19 mm x 20 yd.
The use of a PVC base with a plasticizer without toxic components made it possible to obtain a wide range of color options without impairment of physicochemical properties of the insulating tape.

Combustibility:

Stretching:
Due to high elasticity, the extension rating exceeds 260%, while the tensile strength reaches an optimum value of 46 N/m.
Recovery:
A high recovery rate simplifies the tight winding procedure and improves impermeability, which increases the degree of protective insulation properties important when exposed to moisture and dust in aggressive environmental conditions.
Electric strength:
Due to the special composition of the PVC film and the adhesive layer of MLux BASE insulating tape, an electric breakdown strength of 39.37 kV/cm was achieved, which corresponds to a high rate for insulation of wiring with voltages up to 600 V.
Adhesive layer:
A uniform rubber adhesive layer with a thickness of 0.018 ± 0.002 mm increases shear strength with an almost instant maximum adhesion indicator.
